Talking the Talk vs Walking the Walk

Charles Blondin was a French tightrope walker who achieved international fame in the mid 1900's by crossing Niagara Falls on a tightrope.
In front of an amazed crowd he crossed a tightrope over Niagara Falls blindfolded, on stilts, on a bicycle, and then with a wheelbarrow.
Before each trek across he asked the crowd, "Do you think I can get across like this?"
The crowd consistently yelled, "Yes, you can do it!"
After the crowd watched him successfully cross with a wheelbarrow, Charles asked them, "Who would like to ride across in my wheelbarrow?"
Nobody spoke up.
There's a big difference between saying that you trust yourself/teammates and actually trusting yourself/teammates under pressure.
There comes a time when every high performer needs to say, "Screw it," and go all in.
If you are scared to go all in, you will never reach your full potential.
Talk is cheap. Be the one who walks the walk.
