Being a Great Teammate Includes Fighting for Your Family

When rival male gorillas fight, the winner often takes the other's family.

Talk about consequences. With so much on the line you better believe that those gorillas are all in.

Your team is your family. If you want to be a true leader, fight for your teammates.

This can look different based on your situation, but here are a few practical ways you can life this out:

-Be a hard worker... when your teammates see this day in and day out, they know you will have their back in competition

-Give everything you have in games... when you push yourself, even when things aren't going well, your teammates will want to follow suit

-Stand up for your teammates who are struggling... this can be one-on-one convos, texts, or calls that let them know that you care about them and support them

-Hang out with them... time spent with teammates away from the field builds a stronger connection on the field

Fight for your team and teammates like a male gorilla.
